Ok Gotcha
No mine is factory painted. The sport trim package from 94? - 98 Was nothing more than appearance upgrades.
Sport models include:
Painted front and rear bumpers
Painted Grill Shroud
Trip Monitor system (Compass)
Power Seat
Heated Power mirrors
Tow Package (I think)
That is at least for the 98 year. My truck was a half year between 97 and 98 But I was one of the last years before the sport changed dramatically in 99.
All you need to do is paint the chrome bumper and then you will have a sport style bumper. As for a direct sport bumper you will need to find a primed one which are very hard to find I will admit. These are I believe a 3 piece bumper. You have the inner piece that has the foglight holes. The actual bumper steel. Then the plastic bumper accents that go on top and bottom. So you would have to find them in pieces. Let me see what I can dig up.
