Going to look at a truck thursday after work, pick n pull says its a 1995. If its a short bed will it fit my 01?

Im not 100% sure but from what LMC truck catalog says:

1995 US models Built models up to 3/27/95 and Mexico models built up to 4/10/95. Left hand tailgate hinge inside diameter measures .85'

1995 US Models built after 3/27/95 and Mexico models built after 4/10/95 have a left hand tailgate hinge inside diameter of 1.33'
