I have been looking in to getting some bigger tire size. I have 285/70r17 on the truck right now. The truck aslo has the factory 4x4 offroad packages lift, I believe its 2.5 lift, but not positive. I alway come upon some good looking 35x12.5x17, on Craigslist in my town for good price, but don't want buy if they won't fit or rub. Would I also have to get bigger rims? I have the sport rims. Please help out before i make a stupid buy.

I run 35s on a 3 inch coil spacer 4x4 2500 5.9l Gas on stock 17 inch 3rd gen rims. I rub on full lock only. I also have a 4.75 inch rear lift (I have a flat bed) but you should be fine since you have a normal bed for clearance.

I would suggest different wheels, more offset but similar width.

Offroad edition is 2" factory lift from the front springs and extra leaves in the rear. Myself, I run a 2" leveling spacer and could more than easily run 35s with no rub on my 17x9 -12mm offset wheels
