the best and most cost effective is you buy a cheap winter beater and take your truck off the road in the winter

Put storage insurance on it ...about 11 dollars a month for me

buy a 1000 jeep cherokee...run it in the winter with plpd insurance.

its what i did....now i dont ever have to worry about rust on my truck..

Just find a cheap beater for the winter

How much that cost you?
I have existing surface rust and I'm looking for a way to "stop" it in its place. Already my rear bumper brackets are peeling from corrosion.

Existing rust?

Just joined you guys with a 1996 2500. Put a new muffler in this weekend and noticed all the frame rust. Plan is to just clean it up as best I can and spray something on to stop/slow it. Any thought there?
