Are the aluminum doors handles any stronger than the aftermarket ones? I'm really over replacing the passenger side handle on my truck. I baby them and they still break. The drivers side handle is original I believe because the spring is weaker. In my opinion the spring the aftermarket handles come with is too strong and snaps the plastic.

Above is a link to some aluminum handles I found. Any suggestions are welcome!

So 3 months in on these door handles and I'm fairly satisfied. They are definitely heavy duty. I don't see these breaking any time soon and I don't baby them.

The only downsides really are fit and finish. They don't fit exactly right. I had to space them off the door 1/8 inch so they wouldn't scrub the inside window channel. They also look a little off because the handle doesn't sit flush with the handle bucket. Basically the handle sticks out because of the way it's made.

The instructions are crap as well. They are generic door handle instructions that are a waste of paper. You have to re use your old door handle spring as well.

I give these handles 4 out of 5 stars. I wouldn't recommend them if you don't need them but I do recommend them if you are replacing one.

Those are actually pretty cool, do you have pics installed?

I've never broken door handles on my dodges, maybe it was the aftermarket ones like you said. I've swapped them when I swapped doors before thoough and it is not fun!
