I know there are lots of us that have done the debadge. But how many of you have a ghost image left from the stickers??? For example my truck has the factory sport sticker on it. I just got a call from the shop and they said that the sport sticker caused the paint to fade a little but so it has a ghosted effect to it. So now I'm wondering what to do?? Should I get some sport stickers from ebay and put back on it or try to get the ghost image out. I'm a little worried that the ones on the tailgate will dot he same thing. As cool as it sounds I don't think it will look right. any ideas?? I'm thinking claybar but not sure if that would do the trick or if the paint is just faded too much.

Lol I figured that was what you meant. I was thinking that. Never clay barred anything so I don't know how well that is gonna work out.

^^Gotta love autocorrect lol.
This is the same reason I haven't debadged mine yet. If a good claybar and wax doesn't do it, I dunno what will

claybar is necessary, but only as a prep to the thing that will actually work (claybar itself wont do it). Meguiers scratch-x 2 will work fine. An even better product is Adams Swirl and haze remover. Once you've used the scratch remover, use a polish to really bring out the shine, then your favorite wax

Meguiars scratch-x 2.0 removed the ghosting on mine just fine.

only thing I wonder about is the difference in the 1998 paint vs one that was 1-2 years old. I've seen some guys say they had ghosting on a new truck. Crazy.

But, all of the above will help out!
