Has anybody ever painted (with plastic paint) the gray plastic skin on the front bumper?

Spray bombing it won't go well but if you prep it properly, use and adhesion promoter and actual base/clear they can definitely be color matched.

Ya I'd recommend taking it off (be careful not to beak the clips) and then clean it off with soap and water then wax/grease remover. Adhesion promoter then base and def clear it otherwise it'll just flake off

I actually today, I sprayed mine with the side step spray paint I got from advance auto. I just gave it a good wipe down beforehand and sprayed it on evenly. I was spraying my side steps so I decided to do the pieces.
I don't about the plastic paint on the outside of the vehicle. I wouldn't do it because I think it'll melt easier.
