honestly those dont look like the 8500k. i had 8000k and they had more blue in them. these are white/yellow. defiantly bright though.

Well, thats what the box says. And you can't tell but they do have a blue tint to them.

Maybe one of yall will know, when they are lit up, they don't shine very bright down the road. Could it be they just need adjusted? And it seems one points down and to the left and the other just points to the left.

you can try adjusting them. could also just be a crappy bulb. also keep in mind 8500k arent gonna put out near the light a 6000k would. 4300k is the brightest -- from there, the higher the number, the less light output

And to add to what AF said the higher number lights you get the more blue/purplish they will be
