Opinions wanted

So, I was looking around YouTube at monstaliner videos.. And for a while, I've been thinking I want a gray liner along the bottom of my truck&on my flares that have yet to go on. Now seeing the black and gray on videos, I've been thinking. I know black along the bottom is cliché, but I think it might look better with the flares also getting done.. (don't worry about the rust, I'm gonna fix that first lol)

so basically, it would be either white and black on the truck or white, gray, and black. (windows will be tinted either way once the money comes back around)

basically, not trying to start an opinion battle here, just want to know whether ya'll think it'll look too common with just white and black, ya know? Lol

#1. how you fixing the rust??
#2. I want those truck steps, are they installed on the frame or pinch weld of truck?

About the bedliner.. I am about to pull the trigger on the black mostaliner and chassis saver, gray would look decent in my opinion and would look like a 2 tone paint from the factory from a distance

Idk yet. Bottom of doors will probably be a patch, dont know about the fender yet. If you look close, that fender is pretty shot up against the door.. Could get a new panel, could just bondo it and put the flares on.. Dunno yet. Over the rear wheels are pretty small, probably just bondo and throw flares on. but I'm so glad my truck is white, bleach white on rust stains when cleaning them takes that oxide that clings on the paint. Ill have to do a before and after sometime for people, its my favorite cleaning secret. I know because every truck I've owned is white, purely on coincidence.. Lol

the steps are attatched onto the bottom part of the body that curve around to the bottom of the door. Kinda hard to explain, ill grab a pic for ya sometime. But they're my favorite step ups. Don't take up much room, lol.

and I know, just trying to decide from gray or black just has me lost. I don't think either will look bad. Just not sure.

Also, I plan on taking the trim off, its flaking all along it. Probably won't replace.

Everybody does black. Do gray. I think it looks good personally. But I mean it is your truck in the end. You can always plasti dip it to see how it looks as temp

I've got to test how I'm gonna get the liner to stick. a good wipe down, cleaning and an etch primer should make it stick to the plastic, shouldn't it?

Most likely. You MIGHT be able to get "paintable" flares that lend themselves easy to paint/line.

Etch primer is for metals. Adhesion promoter is for plastic. You still need to scruff it up for it to stick well.

I'd go with MQG. The color will be quite a bit lighter than you think. You can also get free paint chips from them.

So paint chips ordered. Decided to just go ahead and order them all. Maybe ill go with a tan instead of gray if they've got a good looking color. Lol
