Not much needed for prep. I just sprayed some aluminum wheel cleaner on them and scrubbed them with a soft bristle brush then wiped them down with some paint thinner and sprayed.
I found that starting with a light coat then getting heavier as I went along seemed to work best and lays down pretty even
Took about two hours per wheel from the time I had them off till I was ready to bolt them back on. I did the inside of them as well so that added a little time to it.
I sprayed the first coat pretty lightly and gave it 30-40 minutes to set. Then got heavier as I went along and waited about 20 minutes between coats. I didn't drive the truck till the next day but I'd give it at least a couple hours after the last coat
Thanks. I've had these tires since the beginning of this year and love them. No signs of wear and have handled the little snow and mud I've thrown at them really well for an A/T tire. Once these wear out I'll probably go with a set of their M/T's
