Ok I've decided I'm going to paint my wheels black :********: I just got back home from getting some plasti-dip. I've never used it before. Anything I should know about painting with it?

i was hoping this was about doing exhaust tips

but.

1. clean
2. tape
3. razorblade to cut the PD from the taped off area
4. if you accidentally peal it up within the first 12 hours (like w/ razr blade) you can get it to restick in a straight line by patting t back down

5. stay away from high pressure water for a month
(when i did the whole truck i PW'd it within 2 weeks and had a hard time, but only because of thick coats.

6. mist the first coat
7. opposite from regular paint.
8. go light coats to heavier coats
9. my truck bumpers and such had 2 thick coats and the several mist coats and peeled easier than the light ****

10 use an aluminum soda can and paint that first. add the painters tape into the mix so you know what the razor blade is needed (also cause you can peel that and not feel like ****)

11 YOU CAN PAINT OVER THIS STUFF W/ BETTER PAINTS AND CLEAR
(just use a nice filling primer and wait a week before sanding the item)
