Decided to do a small project saturday. Put these lights on my truck. Just need to wire them up to my running lights. Nothing too fancy.

Well, honestly, I've just heard everybody call them chicken lights. Not sure why!

I've been seriously considering doing this. Make sure to post some pics of them lit up at night when you get them wired up.

Finally was able to finish the lights. Here is a pic just after I finished. I will try to take a picture tonight. I love it!

Aside for the blacked out toolbox and wheels, you sir, appear to have the exact same truck as me :waytogo:

Looks awesome! I'm getting ready to regear mine and swap out my cab lights for smoked out ones, curious to how that will look matching my head lights.

I think it'll look awesome. You happen to find a link to the lights you have now? They are exactly what I've been looking for.

This is what I wanted to do, it only occured to me a few days ago that these chicken lights would give me the look I wanted better than leds.
I might mount mine on a strip of diamond plate though (my truck is silver with chrome trim)

I was going to mount them on some type of strip, as they are a little taller than the pinch weld. But, I ended up saying screw it. Worked out in the end.

^^I just bought the chrome version of those. I wanted the black ones like you have there but they were sold out on the link you'd posted in that one headlight thread and I couldn't find them anywhere on there. And I paid roughly $40 more lol. I feel so dumb for not asking you about those before. I assumed you'd used the previous link lol.

So I need some suggestions. The wires for the rocker panel lights are hanging down low. Any ideas on how to support them? I thought about cable clips (like the ones you'd support a TV cable with),but I don't want to screw in to my floor.
