Sorry for this if it's a repeat question, but I can't find this answer.
I have a 2000 Ram Sport. Had it since it was new. The headlights were seeming to be dimmer than normal so I decided to polish the lenses and replace the lamps. While doing so, I found that on the quad lamps only the outside lamp illuminated in low beam. All four lamps illuminate in high beam. All four bulbs have dual filaments. Is this normal for the inside lamps to be off in low?? Are the low filaments of the inside lamps not used?? Makes no sense to me...
