Well my cab is over flowing with my work stuff from the small biz so I'm looking at tool boxes. Now my issue is I have a sliver one that I picked up for free but it don't lock so I'm not gonna leave me new stihl ms 441 in there or any of my other gear in there. Saw costed to much just to be laying around in an unlocked tool box. So my fight is do I spend the money and buy the box I want or put some kind of new lock on the sliver one. i really want a black tool box I didn't like the sliver one that I had so its sitting in my front yard.

Anyone want it let me know willing to meet.

Dunno! Maybe a new lock, and keep the saw in the case inside the Cab outta site!
If you can afford it get the black one. I've seen guys paint em Black but always peels off unless you try some POR.
Good Luck, Votes in Dude.

I painted mine black and so far I haven't had an issue with it. Im not a fan of the single lids cause I don't want my back window broke. But since you have a back rack I think you will survive.

i love this thing. and its a redone one from a 70's c10 and since it shows sign of wear and tear i think it was on the truck since new.

IF YOU DO PAINT THE BOX SOAK IT IN VINEGAR (I THREW IT ON) AND IT WILL ALLOW THE PAINT TO STICK TO THE DIAMOND PLATE.

here ya go, still a good gap under there for stuffing **** under. I like the box, mine has a slightly warped lid so to lock it I have to hold down on both latches which sucks but a brand new one shouldnt do that.
