Hey all. For once im not posting about a problem, just a question. I love the look of my truck, however, the little 27 inch tires on it make it look weak. First world problem, the tires are brand new (thanks to the last owner) and they do hook up great in snow/mud. So, of course, im dreaming of making the truck bigger/faster/cooler/nicer/etc.

So, im thinking of putting in a 2" leveling kit, and if I have the $, my buddy offered me 2" wheel spacers. What are biggest tires I can mount with no rub/steering issues? Not that ill put on the biggest that it'll allow, im just curious what my range is.

Thanks all.

On my 95 2500 I currently run 305/85r16 buckshots in the winter and 315/75r16 MTS in the summer the 315s rub a little if I flex it. No lift.

35s fit nice with a leveling kit. However rubbing usually depends on the wheels you're running. Also you're going to want to regear to 4.56s if you don't have at least 4.10s.

If you have 3.55s and don't want to go through the hassle then go with a nice set of 33s.

+1 agreed.

Boy a regear looks tough. Not tough, just a hassle like you said. Im going to hope I have 3.55s, ill try to figure out the types of differentials I have. The ID tags are pretty rusted.

Thanks a bunch.

Iirc If its a 2500 diesel or v10 auto you have 3.55s Dana 60 front 70 rear. Diesel or v10 manual a dana 80 w/3.55 or a rare option of 4.10. gas v8 auto or manual is Dana 60 F&R with 4.10.
