This is my 96' 1500 ive checked a few other threads couldn't find my answer though. Figured I'd start my own. I need spray paint to match this color. What color and color code is this? Also where to order cans of this? Thanks.

In 96 that should be pr4 red. That being said, it has no bearing on rattle cans be cause single stage rattle cans simply are not going to match 20 year old base clear. You can pretty much go to a parts store and pick the closest red and it'll match just as well, because your truck isn't really pr4 red, it's pr4 + sun fade + oxidation + clear yellowing.

Email Chysler about getting a build sheet and include your VIN and itll include the paint code but that pr4 sounds right.

Buff the truck and shine it up real good then you can use Duplicolor Color Match if it's a small area you're working on. Sand the spot down with some 80grit, wax and grease remover, prime it with the Duplicolor Color Match Primer, Base with your color, and clear it also with Duplicolor Color Match.

I only suggest the Duplicolor for all 3 because they were made for this type of stuff and work well together. Right paint color with proper time taken to do it right and it will match pretty damn close. But that's why I threw the buff into the beginning is because it will bring more of the color out.

Yep, PR4 Flame Red.

Like Peppy said, do a cut and buff and it and see what you've got to work with. Anything you do likely won't match worth a flip.
