Wow, nice job! You took it out to spray it or did you mask everything?

Damn you...No I have to do a mod. I was sitting at a red light today, looked up, and wondered how it would look in black. I really like it. Looks good!! I guess I'll have to pick up some dye and do mine now.

hmmm 4th gen experiment:naughty:

I would say no, from personal experience. Unless you plan to rewrap the headliner ad wrap the pillars and anything that tan color in black vinyl or leather. The spray paint constantly has to be retouched and is easily marked.

so it feels just like OEM Dave?

my buddy did this a couple years ago and it felt rough. but i don't think he used the VHT stuff, and in my experience, you can't argue with VHT. lol.

@eddie, how many coats did you do, and which brand did you use? i think if you were to do several coats over the course of a weekend, or a week, it would give the dye time to really soak in, because you gotta remember, dye is absorbed by the material, its not like paint that simply covers it.

Love the black headliner. Looks great. I think my Dad's Ram will be getting this soon. His is starting to peal off. I'll have the shop put on new stuff that's black. and the Gen 2 Rams have black A,B and C pillars. unlike then Gen 3+.
