I'm sure there's been discussion on this but I've searched and found little information.
So I decided to do a write-up on these seat covers so that perhaps others may have an easier time finding information.
I just added a set of Coverking neosupreme seat covers to my 99 Dodge quad cab.
These are the second set I've purchased, the first being for a 99 Ford Explorer about 7 years ago.
I purchased both sets through autoanything.com.
As anyone who has a 2nd Gen Dodge Ram quad cab finds out finding a seat cover that works well with the integrated seat belt is difficult.
I ordered a set that was gray/black with 40/20/40 split front seat, integrated seat belt, and rear grab handle. I paid $161 for the front seats only.
My rear seat is fine and since nobody sits back there anyway I couldn't see spending the money for a rear seat cover.
Since apparently these are made to order, it took 3 weeks for them to arrive.
When they did arrive I wasn't happy.
The fit was awful and there were sewing flaws in almost all parts.
The issue with the fit was related to the integrated seat belt opening.
In order to get the driver's seat cover opening to line up with the seat belt it created a misalignment with the rear grab bar and the center gray area of the seat had to be pulled more to the side.
I finally figured out when I put the passenger cover on that the issue with the driver's side was the integrated seat belt opening was not sewed in position right.
Also, there's no doubt I made a mistake getting the gray center accent.
The gray is rather light and even during installation the seats were starting to show signs of dirtiness.
Given the sewing flaws and the fit issues I decided to return them.
Autoanything has a great return policy and provided a RMA and refunded my money within a few hours after I dropped the covers off at FedEx.
Seeing that I really liked the seat covers I had for the Explorer and I did like these seat covers just not the fit and finish I decided to try Coverking one more time.
This time I ordered the all black set and without the rear grab bar.
I figured without the grab bar opening there would be less things that need to line up.
Also after the covers were installed I figured if I wanted too I could just install the grab bar over the seat covers (which I probably will not do).
Well 3 weeks later the second set came and it was like I had ordered from a different manufacturer.
The seat covers fit fantastic and the finish appears to be without flaws.
There's no doubt that ordering the all black set was the best choice.
I am very pleased with them and am once again a Coverking fan.
Also, I highly recommend autoanything.com.
They have great prices and even better customer service.
