fog light switch/ button question

It seems that my fog light switch/button won't stay on the "on" position. I would have to press and hold the button for the fog lights to stay on. I'm not sure if this is the way it's supposed to be or it's broken.
Ideas?
I looked at rockauto and they sell it for $85. Not going to happen. I'll run to the jy.

Should definitely stay on. Will go off when high beams are turned on.

isnt there a way to override the foglight cutoff when you turn your brights on? ive seen it done just never done it myself.

Can you explain how to do this? I've seen a post that said "Remove the relay in the PDB, then run a jumper from #3-#5." The problem is, I have no clue where any of this is on the truck. Can someone post up a few pics?
