overhead console help

Just did a tune up and started replacing light assemblies, new tail lights and passenger headlight, looking for drivers side, needs new doors front and rear and new headliner. while im choosing fabric for my headliner i need to fine an overhead console because my truck came with a busted dvd player in its place. Heres where i run into an issue, theres to my knowledge two different console, one with a temp gauge and compass ect. and one without. How do i know which one im suppose to have?

Then you don't have a wiring harness for a trip meter, compass, thermo etc. you would have to use the empty one. You could swap one in but you would need the wiring harness for the computer.

The wiring harness? Probably not, that would be a junkyard piece. I also doubt that rock auto will have that console either. Your best bet is a junkyard or eBay for either of these parts.
