My seatbelts don't retract all the way. Is there some way to adjust them? They work fine, but by not retracting all the way, I keep slamming my door on the belt. It's that way on both the driver and passenger side.

I haven't on my truck but did in my aunts '00 3/4 ton. The belt had folded over itself inside the base so all we had to do was pop the cover off, pull the belt back through it by hand, straighten it out and we were good to go

I'll pop the cover and see what I find. For some reason it's that way on both sides. It retracts, just not all the way.

Removed the driver side belt. It was twisted behind the b column. That helped some, but still wouldn't retract. Took the spring part out and twisted it a bit tighter and now it's working pretty well. Word of warning, it's tough to do with out having to open the cover over the spring and yes, I did manage to drop it and had to rewind the whole spring.
