Sound when opening door

Hey there evryone again. This time I have a question regarding the sound that is made when the driver s door opens, or when key is on ignition. The thing is that i have another truck that makes the sound only when a door is opened and key in ignition, or when key is out of ignition and lights are on. But in my ram that sound sounds even when key is out and lights off. Is yours as mine ?? Thank you

I'm assuming you mean the dinging sound it makes to warn you you've left something? Mine only happens when the key is still in the ignition or the lights are on when I turn off the truck and the door is open.

Someone who knows something about the 2nd Gens will be along to answer this.

Mine doesn't do it all the time, only when lights are on or key in the ignition, sounds like u got a wireing issue or somethin along those lines

mine does this unless i turn the key to acc (backwards) then off and take the key out.

Thats a weird issue. I would assume something in the wiring ^^did you try that?

open your fuse door and look at the very back and youll see where the sound is coming from lol i poped mine out at the dealership as soon as i bought it lol i hate em buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........ugh!!!!
