Had a question, ever since I've had the truck, the trip meter resets everytime you turn the truck off. The odometer works fine though. Is there anything I can do to fix it? Is there a short somewhere?

Doesn't make sense to me... The trip isn't digital so it shouldn't be resetting itself whenever you turn the truck off

Wasn't even thinking about his being an '01. The interior and gauge cluster changed in '98

Not to sure colton I don't have that issue. I say double check the PCM connections and grounds. We all know that electrical gremlins are the worst. Let us know if you figure anything out.

will the odometer have a constant similar to a car stereos yellow wire? that is what keeps you hu from resetting all of the stations every time you turn your truck off. colton do you have a manual for you r truck? also check on sem there is a guy with a 318 and plans of boring and stroking to get over 400 hp. sounds like a solid plan you should do it. its in the 2011 plans thread
