I have a very strange problem that not many people have had that I have talked to, water on the passenger side floor board. This is what I have found so far. I'm pretty sure it's not the A/C box because the puddle doesn't start at the top under the box but down on the floor by the chair mounting bolt. I have already check anyways to make sure the drain tube isn't clogged either just to be safe. I've pulled the carpet back and felt under it where it hits the firewall and it is dry as a bone there.

Some people have also said the third brake light could cause the problem but about a year ago I ordered LED taillights and the third brake light came with a new gasket. But I have siliconed around it too just to make sure. I'm also pretty sure that is not the problem either because the water doesn't come from the back and move up front, it starts by the the door in front of the chair by the mounting bolt closed to the door and spreads from there.

I've pretty much run out of ideas. I've gone around and siliconed up around the whole top of the door molding, around the back glass(which is a sliding one), siliconed up under the truck too everywhere where I thought water could get in. It only seems to do it after a heavy rain. I thought I had it fixed a couple months ago but yesterday we got a heavy rain and after I found the problem had returned. It got so soaked that it was dripping out of the pinch rail onto the ground. I pulled the plastic molding strip up today and got the shop vac and tried to suck up as much water as I could and let a fan sit on it.

If anyone has any ideas on what it could be, I'd greatly appreciated the help. This has been going on for only about a year and a half now but I've either checked or siliconed everything I thought it was and obviously it hasn't been successful.

Thanks in advance!!!

Nvm just read the heavy rain part. Good chance of it being a certain vent hole. Cant remember much about it but dodge dude94 had a similar problem

I forgot to mention that it didn't smell like antifreeze. There must be a vent hole that I'm missing because I can't seem to locate it

Have someone run a water hose over your windshield while u sit in your truck and see if you can see where water is coming from. I done this last summer after I discovered my 3rd brake light was leaking to make sure I fixed it
