Good luck with your new build hope it works out for you.

Q did the heads go back on the same side they came off of? The odd bank is not the usual side to go down.

It was just a Q thats all thanks anyway.

Start looking for a set of thick cast heads, Odessa or whatever they are called sell them at a very reasonable price. Just make sure the ad states thick cast not just rebuilt. I have Cific heads just a thick cast head but more expensive than the Odessa heads.

Don't put any time or money into those other heads you have, just not worth it in my op.

I have a set of RHS Indy X heads, one of the chambers had to be smoothed out since it rattled a valve in it for awhile, but as long as you don't plan on running a boosted motor, it will be fine. The heads have been cleaned up, 2.02 intake, 1.62 exhaust, comes with new valves, springs, they had a valve job done, and light porting on the exhaust/intake ports. One push-rod galley had to be sleeved, but they came off my bolt on 360. Ran fine, I'd let them go for $700 + shipping.

Here are some photos, as they sit.

If you only want stock heads, that's cool go for it.

But since you're close by, I could let them go for cheaper if it helped you out, $500 delivered. I don't have any use for them, I went with R/T heads with a stage 3 port job. Calvert Racing in Denton, TX fixed that head Wayne Calvert said it was ok to run, the valve seats have been fixed and they all seal. I'd let you use them, and if you didn't like them I'd buy them back, just to prove I'm not trying to sell trash. I even got the receipt from having them cleaned up.

It's up to you, I don't want it to seem like I'm pressuring you, but the offer is on the table.

Lock-N-Stitch repaired heads are junk not worth a penny to **** on. Why would someone install thin cast heads again only to have to redo the job down the road.

Got a photo of that tool box? I might trade the heads for it, I have a cheapo from Harbor freight, and wouldn't mind upgrading. Got a Part number or anything?

Magnum style heads, and the post photos you either use the attachment option in the advanced reply box, or upload to a server like photobucket or facebook and paste here using the BBcode tags, but replace the <> with []

or just send me the images via text 682-553-9096
