360 engine differences 97-02

Just a quick quesiton. I have a wrecked 97 1500 with a good 360. I found a nice 02 1500 that has a bad 360. Some places say that they will interchange and other say they won't. What are the possible differences?? Thanks for the info!

Differences include: fuel injectors, wire harness, intake manifold, fuel rails.

Some say that the 02s are only replaceable with 02s because of motor mounts but I can neither confirm nor deny that.

So is the long block the same? Could I just swap the over the intake?

Depending whats bad about the 02 yes. Internals are the same as are the top ends HOWEVER if you're pulling heads it's almost guaranteed they're cracked so thicker castings are going to be recommended.
