5.9 to 5.2 tranny swap

I have a 99 ram that motor is shot and a 99 Durango with a 5.2 that needs tranny can I put the tranny out of the 5.9 into the Durango both are 4 x 4?

Yes you can, just use the flex plate from the 5.2 engine. Everything is a direct swap.

It doesn't mount up the same on left side of tranny around heel housing where linkage is

You might have to fight with it a little bit. I swapped my transmission from my old blown up 5.2 to my newer 5.9. I did it all out of the vehicle and it was a bit of a pain to get it all to line up on the ground. If you're doing it inside the engine bay, you're going to have to fight with it a little bit.
