Don't bother getting injectors yet.

Just read through the thread again, time for a comp test and you need to fix the plenum gasket.

I haven't seen hardly any oil in the intank manifold when I had TB off. I wouldnt guess the plenum is blown.

You can't go by that wives tail, you just have to expect it to be bad until you replace it. Its not hard to do nor is it expensive.

Sure thing, but first I'd like to be able to drive her to work without failing... so injectors are first imo.

Alright.

I am thinking I should take some videos of what's going on, because I am so lost on this truck.

New:
IAC
MAF
Ign Coil
Plugs
Spark Wires
Cap + Rotor
Fuel Pump/filter
Fuel Injectors (2)

I installed the new injectors today- she runs better for some reason, but worse at the same time. (I think its easier to hear its faults now)

Still, when I pull the fuel injector connectors on cylinders 5,6,7- there is no change in idle speed. So I pulled the plugs and since they were new, they will show something...THEY WERE WET! So I know this motor is getting fuel, but the plugs look like they are still brand spanking new..no carbon which leads me to think no spark when running.

Anyone?

Would a bad Crankshaft Positioning Sensor cause a few cylinders not to fire?

I am going to pick up a CKPS and swap that out... Still thinking its the EGR on the back of the motor.

Codes Stored: 33 and 21.

AC Clutch Relay...don't care.
And 2 is O2 Sensor, which was new from bosch. But I doubt an o2 sensor would cause certain cylinders not to fire..

Also changed the oil after changing the oil 311 miles ago...black as dirt. No discoloration though, 5 qts came out, looked fine..no milkiness.

edit/update: Unplugged the connector to the CKPS, tranny oil came out of the electrical connector..I'm thinking I am getting warmer...

Well, I think I am done throwing money into this pit...

I am going to pickup a 95 ram 1500 from a buddy and use my 94 as a donor truck for parts. I will probably take the heads off and re-man the heads so when the other 318 blows, I'll be ready.

Yeah...more on that this weekend.

Sent my truck (as a last resort) to my buddy's shop. Distributor cap was bad, but not on the posts or cracked or anything...this one got me. 3 "prongs" if you will on the INSIDE of the cap were TWISTED and melted the plastic enough to cause it arc to each other.
