Just recently bought a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.9 v8 in it. When I accelerate my rpms don't go over 2500. It does get up to speed though and drives fine. Just seems it's lacking some power. Clogged cat maybe idk? Their is a minor exhaust leak that sounds like it's coming from the manifold but it isn't very loud. No check engine light or anything. Maybe it's just slow idk this is the first truck I've ever owned. Could it also be an issue with the transmission? Any feedback would help thanks.

Very likely the cat. Bang on it with a hammer and remove the front 02 and test drive it. If it suddenly has more power replace the cat.

Then address the plenum aka the reason the cat clogged

How much money will it cost to replace the cat?
