Just bought my 97 dodge ram 5.9L and for the most part it is all stock parts up to this point. But that WILL change. So my question to all who read this, is, what have all of you done to your 2nd gen ram? Don't be afraid to attach pictures to the thread because i'm sure everyone here would like to see as well.

First you should fix the plenum (Link to Plenum Thread) and do a complete tuneup. Include a new cat in that list or pick up the Jegs Y-Pipe.
Then you have your goodies:
SCT Tuner
1.7 Roller Rockers
Drop-in filter, 14x3 air cleaner, or CAI
52mm Throttle Body
Double Roller Timing Chain
Headers
E-fans
All of them are really simple installs.
Then you have heads, cam, etc.
