So I bought this truck with a factory CAI, headers and complete exhaust, how can I tell if its chipped? anyone got ideas...I think that its "lack" of power has to do with the fact that the computer hasn't been flashed for this...or maybe I'm wrong....

first thing i would check for lack of power is the plenum gasket. ill almost bet it is leaking.
i would doubt its been "chipped". you can always look under the hood for a jet chip if installed. would be hard to tell if the computer had a tune on it. the dealer fix for a leaking plenum gasket used to be just to death flash the computer. (not sure if they still do this) take a flash light and look down into the throttle body and see if there is any oil pooling up in the bottom of the intake manifold. if there is, there is your problem/power loss.

also if you are running larger tires and lift you might want to invest in gears to get some power back to the wheels

Unless the owner swapped out a PCM... Like me I've got both a stock PCM and a Mopar Performance PCM they both look the same.
