So the other day I went through some water at the farm and when I went to drive home the truck started to back fire like crazy. So i limped the truck home, so once I got there I had a check engine light on pulled the codes misfire on cylinder 2 and 4. I pulled the plugs looks like there wernt firing so I pulled all the plugs and wires and also the cap. The cap looked good so I went ahead and replaced all the plugs and wires. Well after about 2 days the truck when cold would drive fine but once it got warm it would have a crazy idle like it was starving for fuel and almost like a misfire yet no check engine codes, at times it would almost stall out. Also the crossover tube for the fuel rails had a slit in it somehow so I replaced it with rubber line. Is there anything that I am missing am at a lost here all the wires were set in the correct order and plugs gapped to 40. I have included a vid also.

The same thing happened on my durango, it ended up being a bad plenum gasget, and a blown o2 sensor fuse. Check. Your plenum and see if you've got oil pooling.

Not that I can tell its just sounds like it has a mild cam in it and then when it sits at a stop sign or red light I will hit the gas it would sorta die and lurch forward then take off

Yea, mine did the same exact thing, but only when warm,I chased to for a few hundred dollars before I checked the plenum, changed spark plugs, wires, iac, tps, and even put a new cat on it. Ran like a ***** ape till I came to a redlight, then I had to double foot it. But the new plenum and fuse fixed everything for me. Sorry I can't help ya anymore.

My truck does this same thing. I kinda think it could be my plenum too, but im not sure bc theres not much oil in there, but it does lose about a quart of oil within every 3,000 mile change. Ive also replaced my plugs, wires, cap, rotor, first o2 sensor, iac, tps, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and i think thats it so far. but the plenum might be the next one to do. If you figure it out though, let me know what ya did to fix it !

Being plugs 2 and 4 being side by side check the conections. Sounds like that side caught the brunt of the water.
