My truck gets a high idle to it as its moving...when im stopped, it idles normal, but when im moving the motor stays revved up when i take my foot off the gas. I tired coasting down hill in neutral from a dead stop and as soon as i got to 2-5mph, the idle jumped up to like 1200 or so...any ideas on this one? lol

Any error codes present? Just because there is no check engine light doesn't mean there isn't at least 1 quiet error code.

actually, now that i think about it, im pretty sure its a vacuum leak bc i had problems with the idle being jumpy too not too long ago. I just never go the chance to check for a vacuum leak lol but ill do that hopefully tomorrow..

Exactly... It might be a minor error code for something...

That is possible to if you got a ScanGauge II you'd be able to see the MAP sensor is off from the vacuum leak. But also be able to check for error codes as well...

well, today after school i went under the hood of my truck and since i didnt have any carb cleaner, i had to use brake cleaner and sprayed the vacuum line for the brake booster....nothing. sprayed around the base of the intake manifold and got some bubbling :/ the trucks got 141K on it, and the previous owner said the motor was replaced but had no proof of it. So as far as i know, that could be the original gaskets on that. But those were the only two spots i sprayed, i wasnt too sure what else to go for to spray. So now i know that intake leaks a bit though....
