:word:Don't worry about me, I am not familiar with throttle bodies at all.
A true 50mm.

A true 68mm 4.7l

A couple 52mm cores.

96 and up non egr type of vacuum routing.

92-95 egr type of vacuum routing.

Notice the 2 holes for vacuum routing and the 2 smaller holes in the bore as well versus the one hole and the notching in the bore seal. These 2 TB's "breathe" differently through their vacuum routing.

Enlarging these vacuum holes does what?
Holley used several different spring rates depending on the year of the vehicle.
Appears from your pic to have some of the hourglass reduction left in it, at a true 50mm this reduction is gone. Does it still has the stock blade with the "11" stamped on it?

Doesn't make you an expert. We're all here to learn, and to help the members. A little bit of modesty goes a long way.

It really does look like someone took a stock TB, painted it blue, and sold it to you.
I see no difference btwn that and the stock unit on my '00 Ram.

I can see where it says Holley on his tb. Looks to be an older model though.

Holley tb's were stamped holley from 92-96. Until borg warner bought them. 97 tb's usually have a block stamped where it said holley. After that until 2003 none said holley. Unsure if Chrysler wanted to pay BW for the holley name any more or what.

So your saying since I have a 96 my stock tb should say Holley?

Yes your 1996 should say holley on the top of it. Yours should have a 95 casting mark on it. They were generally cast the prior year. Seems to be what I have seen since I started playing with them.

It will say holley but nevertheless Chrysler did not outsource them elsewhere. Once BW acquired holley I'm guessing chrysler wanted to save a few pennies and opted to leave the holley stamp off them. Still technically a holley TB made in the holley factory. Just under the BW umbrella.

Its a 52mm and it might go good with your engine mods.

That is a 400 dollar piece of billet!!
It has been know to whistle, if a person is willing to spend that much F&B offers a larger range of throttle bodies and they have corrected the whistle. They also continue to do R&D to improve on their existing design.
Here is a true 52mm of mine.
