Looking to quit my truck down

I have a 2001 short wide I am currently running 2 1/4 inch straight pipes with 8-inch cherry bombs and 4 inch tips on it, looking to quiet down greatly and was wondering what it would sound like with a 2 to 1 super 44 Flowmaster coming out with 4inch exhaust

You should get a nice magnaflow, absolutely obliterates high pitch noise up until about 3500rpm and leaves a nice low tone that you can still hold a conversation over, yet hear and feel manly in the cab.

Above 3500rpm, it sounds like an american V8, loud and proud.

IMO flowmasters sound tinny, like you put a couple soup cans on there, and i've mistaken plenty of trucks with flowmaster 44s for fart cans.

14inch oval body Magnaflows with the 4inch tips would sound good.

+1 to both the above. I agree Flowmaster sounds tinny. I think you'd be plenty happy with a 2.5" single mangaflow 14 or swap both the cherry bombs for 2-1/4 magnaflows
