So today I was board and getting some parts off my ford. Well on the truck I made a custom ram air intake with HVAC metal ducting. It looked sweet. Well I took that off and was looking at my ram and pulled the air cleaner tube out of the fender and I looked in the fender. There is no kind of fresh air coming in. So I took my metal ducting and put it in the tube for now and ran in to my bumper. Man did I feel a good increase of power. I did a 0 to 60 with the orignal stock setup. I average about 10.63. Well with the jerry rigged setup I got 9 flat. Now this setup sucks just saying. In the next week I'm buy a cold air intake off of a friend for 60 bucks. I'm going to go to my local Advance Auto parts once I get it and get some more cold air intake tubing and making it a real ram air. I'll post pics once its up. But this is gonna be my DIY thread for you guys looking for some cheap horse power.

Yes for now its into the stock airbox. I'm try to figure a way to put a snorkle air cleaner on it. It would make this alot easier.

Wermbang I like the look of yours but I want mine straigt to the bumper so its ram air. I'm debating on putting a cowl hood scoop on my truck and running a ram air that way.

Its from a Dakota, they share the same throttle body so it mounts right up. Durangos also have them 5.2, 5.9 and the 3.9

I think that's from a non-sport grill on a sport truck

and there is a gap with the regular grille when put on my truck
