Need some advice.... I have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4.7. Have a missfire on the #8 cylinder. I have replaced all coil packs, spark plugs , wires, o2 sensors and injectors. I have had a compression test done on the #8 and its fine. While holding key over truck will crank one time then stop. If I disconnect the negative terminal and connect it back it will start right up. I can drive all day no problem but early the next morning is the same Problem and the check engine light is back on. Anyone else have this issue?

I'd check into the plenum thread. The most common cylinder to die is the number 8 cylinder when the plenum is bad. Is there oil fouling on the spark plug?
