The motor fires up fine, and as long as my foot is on the gas it runs great.. but as soon as I take my foot off the gas the truck dies... I had this same problem before but i was able to fix it by tightening a wire that runs from the fire wall to the valve cover on the passenger side of the truck, this time i notice that the same wire "which has 3 connectors" is not hooked up, 2 are, one to the fire wall and the other to the valve cover the third is just dangling tho, this has to be the problem. I just don't know where to hook it up at, thank you guys for the help

Looks like someone rigged up some sort of a ground wire mess haha. I would be thinking the TPS (throttle Position Sensor) is about to take a crap. Thats my guess.
