Sorry I'm not of use, I'll bump it to the top for you. Look for (dapepper9) or (crazzywolfie), they're both really keen on this.

i am not really sure what would cause this or what the readings are suppose to be. have you taken the air cleaner off to verify that the throttle is indeed closing 100%? i think i have read of people ovaling out the holes in the TPS to tweak it a bit but otherwise i am not too sure.

I will check that but that don't make sense because it won't let me open up all the way either I'm only opening up at three quarters of a throttle

i guess that is where ovaling out the wholes could possibly help get the sensor readings back to where they are suppose to be but i would almost wonder if there might be something wrong with the throttle body or something that is causing the readings to not be right.

Yeah I'm almost certain it's something else causing the throttle position sensor to get that reading do you know if there's any other sensors that are run with that

I do believe that the throttle blades are supposed to be open just a smidge even in the "closed" position. This of course will create a reading from the TPS even when you aren't pressing the gas.

As for maximum reading, mine maxes out at something like 66%. I don't think that I've ever read of anyone recording a reading of 100% at WOT. Not sure what it's SUPPOSED to be however.

From what info I can gather idle should be around 6% and 100% on w.o.t. Feels like I'm pulling a boat lol not sure if this is the cause but from what I can find all points back to tps sensor.

You can lookup the APPS procedure to reset the throttle position sensor.

Is that for a gas motor? I thought it was for diesel's only.
