In the morning it will crank and turn over but will die. It has gotten worse as we have gotten into winter. Once it has been started and ran for the drive to work it starts fine the rest of the day, but after sitting over night it returns. I have new O2 sensors, tps, iac. Any ideas?? (I have rev and keep rpm's to about 1500 for 6 or 7 minutes and slowly let it down and it will idle but has to idle a lil while longer or will die while coming to a stop.

When I did mine I had $130 in the kit then you have to figure on coolant for the whole system.

There is a guy on ebay who sells plates he has lasered himself. DodgeDude94 knows more about his parts/quality I would hit him up about it. I just ordered the Kit from Hughes.

It can be done in a day if you stay at it and don't have any problems.

Judging by your symptoms, have you cleaned your throttle body and IAC valve/passage lately? It's sounding as if, while the engine is cold, the IAC isn't opening enough to get hte engine to idle.

As for the plenum plates, last I heard, that eBay seller (and modded Magnum enthusist) isn't cutting plates anymore for some reason. :( He put out a good product at a good price too, which is a shame. So the only one making plates that I know of is Hughes. APS used to make plates, but I dunno if they're still operating.

I would also check your battery and alt. These trucks will not hold a idle if voltage is low.

Has anyone had issues with a strong gas odor after filling the tank? sometimes it looks as if fuel has ran down the side of the tank but not much.

Fuel pump module seal may be shot so its running out the top of the tank. Its not exactly common on these but I have seen it before.

If the seal is bad, it would probably cause a drop in fuel pressure. I def need to check it out.

No it would not. Im referring to the seal between the top of the tank and the pump module.
