So its time to regear my truck because im putting on 35s. i know its going to be expensive but to regear front and back axels to 4.10s with parts and labor will cost about how much? not looking for exact prices just a ballpark range.

Dont screw around, go with 4.56 gears you will be much happier. 4.10's and 35's wasnt a good combo IMO. Revved to high out of over drive and lugged to much in overdrive on the highway I found. My 2 cents.

Ball park it at $2500-$3000 id estimate.

4:56 for 35s is like running 3:55s on 31s.

I **** you not.

My 4.56s run amazingly with my 35s. I'll never change em. I'll spend the extra 3500 for the add a gear for the tranny before I change back high rpm don't bother me any other than gas$$$$

would you get bad mph with 35s and stock gears too? or would it be worse?

MPG will actually go up with gears because your engine won't be lugging and constantly downshifting to pick up speed.

Stock gears with 35s on these old trucks is extremely rough for the transmission. My old 99 dodge RSM had 33s and 3.55 gears and it ate the tranny to pieces. When I put 4.56 gears in the dodge I have now it pulled some strain off my tranny cause it don't work as hard....providing you drive it normal. I still get 16mpg at least and faster takeoff if ya wanna race someone on the street. My 3.55 gears I had topped out at about 125 mph (don't ask how I know) and my 4.56 top out at 108mph. I put em to the test before I swapped lol
