Ive been looking into it, and the kit S70037 from Harland Sharp is simply a 1.7:1 5/16 Stud/Pedestal mount roller rocker. Stud or pedestal doesn't quite matter, worse case, some all thread fixes that as long as its same tap.

Now, correct me if im wrong, Crane makes a kit, 36655-16, to convert to 3/8 Ford style stud mount roller rockers, or Chevy, as long as its 3/8 stud mount.

So my if my thinking is correct, wouldnt a 5/16 stud or pedestal mount 1.7:1 roller rocker, be the same as the Harland Sharps?

Example, Proform Pedestal Mount Extruded Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms 66878 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing.

In case your wondering,
PRO-66878 - $186.97 Summit
S70037 - $403.97 Summit

Atleast worth looking into isn't it? Correct me if im wrong.

You need the convert kit and guideplates as well add the rockers but yes many have done so. You'll have to regularly set valve lash as well vs the Harland Sharp pedestal mounts are plug and play no adjustments

With these rockers, they are 5/16 bolts, so you wouldnt need the conversion kit, only a guide plate kit. Correct?

I just want to make sure that the geometry of the push-rods to valve will not change, and that the ratio would still be correct.

They're pedestal not studs. Need a stud conversion kit. Otherwise they'll be the same ratio and all
