Have an 1998.5 24valve Ram 3500 Recently I had to replace the injector pump. It started quickly at all conditions. now it has started being slow to start when the engine is hot. Cold it always fires right off. I had the injector checked and the mech. said is shows fine, and suggested that it may be the backflow valve. i cannot find such an animal in any parts listing!
When hot it always starts but grinds long enough to make you begin to worry. Any suggestions or places i could get a backflow valve would be appreciated. Oh, the engine has only 150000 miles and has always been well maintained with pretty much no problems. Thanks Mitch
