Most folks don't have any issues running a factory type of wire. I have the generic house brand on mine. There really isn't a difference in wires unless you are building a performance engine really.

You don't have to get the best. If you are running stock ignition it is just a waste of money. Get the cheap set from Taylor for the truck and just make sure they do not touch any where on the motor. The saved money could pay for a new set of plugs or something else useful.

Same here I'm running NAPA brand wires and no issues... (16-17 MPG)

I'm running ngk with no problems. And they have a lifetime warranty. So if and when they do fail. New set for me
