Exhaust pipe should be 2.5 in as BBartow has posted up.
FYI, 98 and up trucks actually had a 3in tail pipe that was necked for to 2.5in for the muffler.
Makes it sound meatier.

The diagram that Bartow posted is as it should be stock, which is a single exhaust.
