When i hit the gas in my truck it putters and seems like its not getting enough gas. Not sure what the problem is. I tried a tuneup....disnt go away. I put a fuel treatment...didnt work.

After the tuneup....the truck started making a loud metal pinging or knocking sound....seems like from under middle of truck....

If you were me what would you do?

A pinging from the center of the dash is a plenum issue. Usually this causes cylinder 8 to go dead over time.

Go with what Dapper said.

Fix the plenum, then comp test all cylinders and make sure to pay attention to cylinders 7/8 for low compression. You could also check the spark plugs, if there is severe fouling on either of those two cylinders it can be an indication as to the condition of the rings.
