V10 to V8 5.9 swap

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 with a blown V10 in it and im thinking about buying this parts truck with a 360 and the trans and everything with it. Would the v10 trans just bolt up to the 360? What all would I have to change when doing the swap?

V10 trans uses the same bellhousing pattern that the cummins diesel does and is not compatible with the v8s. You would have to swap over the v8, the trans, and the harness. Year of donor is going to play a part as well. You're best off with a 2000-2001 1500 or 2000-2002 2500 as the donor
