wanna replace my torque converter....help???

ok so now im wanting to change out my torque converter......its feelin kinda lazy......any recomendations????? lookin for mpg and a lil more torque as well not racing

get a stock replacement or one with just a little bit more stall speed the a lock up controller. I'm not for sure if they make the controller for our trans but they do for chebby.

i believe our controler is built in the ecu aint it???

Yes we do but they are alll computer controlled. The aftermarket one makes it to where you can control it. Heres a way to look at it. auto and manual trannys do the same thing. They put power to the ground. But you get better performance and mileage from a stick. Why? Because you are in control and know what you need for the conditions.
