What gears to use ?

Plan on running a 37in tire wat gears should use? Was thinkin 456. Street driven truck w slight mods thanks

Try and find 4.88s. 4.56 will do, but 4.88 will more closely match the stock tire/gear combo.

I took sometime yesterday to see what up with the 4.88 ratio I was told NLA people so SOL.

9.25 gearbox wont fit 4.88s others on here have told me 4.56 is the smallest gear possible for the 9.25" differential which i have in the front

Yeah guess i didnt realize he has a 2nd gen anyway so its not anywhere near the same lol..

For 37's I'd be looking at 3/4ton or 1ton axle swap and 4.88 gears. They should be readily available for Dana 60/70 axles. That way you wont be replacing almost every front end part on a yearly basis, if not more.
