One of the best things about a single cab Dodge is the amount of room you have in them. I have 2 12" subs in my '98 SC and I still have plenty of room. I'm by no means an audio expert, so I'm not sure about the stock head unit. But I don't know if that would work or not, besides you wouldn't have all of the options for tuning the system just right. I'll snap some pics of my set up when I get home today.

how much kick are you looking for? do you really need 2 subs? i'm going to be installing one 10" into my truck here soon, and that 10" JL has been in a Dodges Stratus RT, a 4 dr 06 dakota, and a 90 RC silverado, and it sounded amazing in all of them, without overpowering you with bass and making it so all you here is thumping. (my buddy's old sub, all of those were his rigs at one point or another) I like the kick of a sub, but i don't want to rattle my truck apart whenever i turn it on, so i'm sticking with 1 sub, but that could be just me, just my 2 cents

Ya the solo baric destroyed that baby.
If I want to show off how kicker rocks to customers I stick them inside and I step outside. With my remote in hand turn it up. After I reach volume 30 they get the **** out. Lol.

Can't stand the heat .... Stay out of the kitchen. That's kicker !

Here are the pics of my 2 12" subs in the '98 single cab (the amp is mounted under the passenger seat). The other guys are right too, a one good sub with the right box will get you great sound as well. Dave had a pretty sweet set up, plus he still has room behind the side seats… where I have none

Sick setup man!!!!!!! I'll have pics up as soon as I can get my 2nd sub and then get it all installed!!!!

My biggest peeve about my truck right now is the fact that it had NO dash :( and a new one is $400 and a plastic cap with the bezel is $250
